I
really like this book; it was a pleasure to read it. It’s an exciting and
interesting one! First it was a bit complicated, because there are a lot of
new words but with each chapter it became easier and it was absolutely no
problem to understand what the story was about. I like nearly each sort of
book but I prefer these ones. I find, that when as reader I can even read the
thoughts of a person and also the feelings. It’s easier to identify with the
character and to understand why he or she is acting in this way. Such a book
is deeper; it touches me more and makes me think about a problem. |
|
I
have chosen this book because of its subject. I think cloning is a really
interesting one and also very modern. Of course a few years will pass before
humans can be cloned. “The Secret” in my opinion, shows very well the problem
such a cloning contains and why it can lead to a lot of problems including
identity crisis in the cloned person. |
|
I
think this book stimulates to think and philosophise about a lot of
questions: |
|
What
has the stronger influence: the genes or the environment? |
|
What
makes a human such a unique, special thing? |
|
What
forms the special personality of a human? |
|
What
builds the character of a person? |
|
Is
the clone really the same human as the creator? |
|
And
so on. |
|
I
would recommend this book to people who are interested in cloning or
questions of identity, but also to others because you really can read it
without getting bored ;-), without thinking about later. |
